The Prattville Thermal Curtain, if constructed, will be located at the Prattville intake on Lake Almanor's west shore.  The lake bottom where the curtain is located will be dredged to improve water flow toward the intake.  Water released at Prattville generates power at Butt Valley PH.

The curtain configuration will be rectangular in shape and will allow flow under all three sides.

The curtains will be made out of Hypalon fabric and will be suspend from floating drums on the reservoir surface.

The bottoms of curtains are tethered to the reservoir bottom with 5 foot cables and floats to allow water to flow underneath.
